Daemon tools has become increasingly annoying lately, as they're trying to make more $$$ out of their product.

I wanted to mount an ISO the other day and didn't want to install daemon tools on my work PC, found this instead.  It is a little rough around the edges but worked fine.

FreeWare disk defragmenter. I was using its old name before, "JKDefrag", this one is closed source but still free, and with a better UI.

For anyone interested in putting together a NAS at home...

www.freenas.org

I have been using NasLite up until about five days ago.  NasLite is based on linux but costs $30.  Works really well for just plugging everything in and getting it running fast.  The biggest issue for me was that it was so closed down.  You don't have much control over access control etc.  FreeNAS is based on FreeBSD and gives you a ton of control.  FreeNAS does software RAID as well, something NasLite does not.  Anyway, I've got it up and running for the last few days and like it so far.
